North Seattle Co-op Preschools process space assignments and waiting list requests on a first-come-first-served basis.
Enrollment
If you are a new and non-enrolled family, feel free to reach out to the correct parent coordinator for your student (follow links below):
Toddlers (age 1 by August 31st) toddlers@sandhurstcoop.org
Pre-3’s (age 2 by August 31st) pre3s@sandhurstcoop.org
3 to 5’s (age 3-4 by August 31st) 3to5s@sandhurstcoop.org
They will respond with additional information and a link to our registration materials.
A $60 non-refundable registration fee is due upon acceptance of a space in addition to a $10 technology fee.
Eligibility
Any parent or legal guardian of an appropriately aged child who is willing to enroll in the Parent Education Program at North Seattle College (NSC) and who is willing to accept and fulfill the duties and responsibilities of active participation in the parent cooperative preschool and parent education program shall be eligible. This includes participation in the classroom, parent meetings, and committee responsibilities. (Sandhurst By-laws Article II, Section C)
Parent Responsibilities:
- Attend one (evening) parent meeting per month.
- Attend assigned class days with your child (days vary on class) & comply with the parent contract.
- Accept responsibility for and fulfill at least one preschool job, ranging from substitute teacher or curriculum assistant to health and safety or board member, and will be asked to partake in an occasional weekend school cleaning.
Multiple Children
A member enrolling more than one child is expected to bear full member responsibility per child. This includes tuition, fundraising goals, NSC credits, registration, and preschool committee assignment (a board member position can fulfill job assignments for two children).
Registration Dates for ‘26 – ’27
Enrollment opens in mid-January with three rounds of dates:
- 1/17/26 – Priority – Returning Sandhurst families begins
- 1/31/26 – Transfer – Co-op transfers registration begins
- 2/14/26 – Open – Open enrollment for all new students begins
