COVID-19 Guidelines

To prevent the spread of COVID within our community, we are following recommendations from the Washington State Department of Health (DOH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Organization of Parenting Education Programs (OPEP). Below are our guidelines for this school year.

  • Masking
    • Masks optional for kids and adults both inside and outside.
  • What to do if you are symptomatic
    • Follow the WA Department of Health COVID flow chart provided by NSC (attached below).
    • Stay at home and test if you are sick!
    • If your child tests positive for COVID and is unable to wear a well-fitting mask, please isolate for the full 10 days.
    • If you test positive and think you may have exposed the class (attended class within 48 hours before the onset of symptoms or positive test), notify your class Health & Safety Officer. All personal information will be kept confidential.
    • If you test negative, follow the general sick guidelines in the Parent Handbook.
  • What to do if you are exposed to COVID
    • Follow the WA Department of Health COVID flow chart provided by NSC (attached below).
    • You can continue to attend school following an exposure or travel.
    • Closely monitor for symptoms for 10 days. Stay at home and test if you become sick.

We encourage testing and mask wearing when appropriate. Thank you!
